Commercial Applications: InCourt

InCourtNG is a PC-based application designed for courtroom personnel to quickly record and print case results as a real-time courtroom process, rather than as a back office operation. InCourtNG therefore eliminates the time and expense of filling out forms by hand and later keying in the same information into a Case Management System (CMS). Since the CMS is updated as cases are heard, data transcription errors are eliminated. Additionally, InCourtNG can also be extended to the Prosecutor Phase to permit States Attorneys to modify charges and proffer negotiated plea agreements before scheduled court proceedings.

InCourtNG increases productivity and greatly reduces the paperwork associated with manual case processing. Working at a PC, a clerk interacts with InCourtNG to gather and save the details and judge’s decisions. InCourtNG simplifies the capture of all case related information such as defendant and counsel status, pleas, adjudications, sentences, special programs, and so on.. When the case has been processed, the required forms are printed in the courtroom and printed at or e-mailed to remote sites such as corrections and probation.

InCourtNG is designed to enhance, not replace, existing computer systems. It allows PCs to function as standalone workstations while networking with existing computer systems for exchange of information.

The user can select specific or all counts for a defendant, multiple counts, multiple defendants, multiple cases, or any combination for fast and easy processing. The intuitive graphic user interface guides the user step-by-step through the courtroom process.
