CSI Announces New Addition to TeamCo-Founder of Kofax Joins CSI as Director of ResearchORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Computing System Innovations (CSI), a leading provider of enterprise records management, workflow, imaging software, and unstructured data recognition announced that Dean Hough, co-founder of Kofax (www.kofax.com) has joined the company as director of research. In this position, Mr. Hough will concentrate on image processing and improved automation of classifying and processing documents for redaction and indexing to expand CSI's market coverage. Dean Hough graduated from San Diego State University in 1980 with a BSEE. After designing a video controller for Fast Fourier Transform products at Scientific Atlanta in San Diego, Mr. Hough was recruited to work at FileNet where he designed a high-speed image bus, graphics display controller and scanner interfaces for one of the industry's first document imaging systems. In 1985 Mr. Hough co-founded Kofax Image Products, a manufacturer of document image processing products for IBM compatible PCs. Mr. Hough served as Vice President of Engineering, board member, executive committee member and corporate secretary. Mr. Hough's tenure spanned initial start-up through IPO and was instrumental in the development of industry-leading products that include the KF series of controller boards, Adrenaline controllers, ImageControls, Ascent Capture and Virtual ReScan (VRS).
